Diabetes National Research Group Is Dedicated To The Discovery And Development Of Treatments And Possible Cures For Diabetes.
We support fundamental research to find treatments and possible cures, including vaccines, for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. A deadly disease, diabetes occurs when the pancreas does not produce or properly use the hormone, called insulin. This hormone is needed to convert sugar and other food into energy needed for every day life.
The need for continued research towards treatments and cures is strong, and the Diabetes National Research Group is committed towards supporting the research, the collaborations, the education of the public, in order to make a difference.
Our Research Is Focused On The Discovery And Breakthrough Of Diabetes Treatments
Since 1998, the scientists we support have been conducting research related to Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes. During the past year, we awarded grants to continue this research.
